How To Water Your Indoor Plants
Like any other living creature, plants need food and water to live. Food being indirect sunlight (for more info on indirect sunlight set-up).
We all know that sometimes plants starve but what is most common is overwatered plants that can lead to it dying because the roots can get rotten.
Here are a few steps to know what your plant wants as a beginner.
Step 1:
- For big plants: dip your entire index finger into soil.
- For small plants: dip your 1-2 cm of your index finger into soil.
Step 2:
- Dry soil= means it needs water and thirsty.
- Wet soil= means it doesn’t need water wait 1-2 days before watering it.
Step 3:
- Repeat this step until you become familiar with what your plant wants.
- Note that what the plant needs, differs from winter and summer.
